When was the last time you sat down and thought about the things you are grateful for? We often come to appreciate things only after losing them: such as our health, a loved one or a good friend. With the help of daily reminders we can learn to be grateful for the things we value in our lives.
And by voicing our appreciation and gratitude we can strengthen our relationships and live a more joyful life. People really appreciate being reminded and told that we are grateful to have them in our lives.
In order to get started, we’ve made a list of things that you might feel grateful for today. We hope that this helps to remind you that there are things to be grateful for.
We hope that one of these things resonated with you and made you feel grateful today. If you like, you can even remind yourself to do this daily by keeping a gratitude journal. Every day, either when you wake up or before you go to bed, you can list a couple of things that you felt grateful for that day.
By making this a small daily routine, you will have a very powerful tool against days when you’re feeling down. You can simply think through all the things you appreciate in your life and you will quickly feel much better and present to the moment.
